The Amazing Blake

On Friday, we finished our first week of History Hopping with a visit from The Amazing Blake Nichols.  This was his first visit to For Kids Only and we will definitely be inviting him back!  He and Kazaam the rabbit gave us a hilarious and magical hour of fun.

Mi Tierra Guacamole Demo

We are so grateful to Mi Tierra of Smyrna for coming to show us how guacamole is made.  Some of us had never seen an avocado before!  The kids all got to try it afterwards and were asking for more.  What a tasty way to end Week One of Fiesta Amigos.

Kona Ice Truck

Another fun summer event at FKO!  Our friends were SO patient and well mannered while they waited for their turn.  Our kids (and their teachers) enjoyed the sugar rush and afternoon fun!

Dora Visits FKO!

We had quite the exciting morning.  Dora stopped by all the classrooms to say Hola and we had so much fun seeing the kids' reactions.  What a great way to kick off our Fiesta Amigos week!
