Mr. Bond the Science Guy!

Mr. Bond the Science Guy came to visit us!
He taught us about Science, Rockets, Lasers, Dry Ice, and so much more.
All the children from toddlers to school age LOVED it!

Everyone set so nicely waiting for the show to start.
We learned about laser and why we can see them in the fog machine.
Some of the school agers helped Mr. Bond make a rocket.
CJ was the biggest fan of the rocket!
He wanted to touch it and clapped after each time.

The helpers got to have some extra fun!
They passed the bubbles around for all the kids to touch and play with.

The Toddlers thought it was so cool getting inside the giant ball.

Silly Mr. Bond was drinking water with dry ice.

Summer Quest Makes You Sleepy!

The Toddlers were extra sleepy on Monday!
They are also extra sweet when they are sleeping!
Shhhhh!

 Sound Asleep!

 What Sweet Toddlers

Some one wanted to play instead of sleep :)

World Travelers Week!

This week we learned about World Travelers.
The Pre K class had a blast with Mrs. Saundra putting together planes and painting them.
They also got the chance to go outside and fly their planes after they dried.

Field Trip to the Hatcher Family Dairy Farm

The school age children took a trip to the Hatcher Family Dairy Farm and it was a blast.
It was a hot day but that did not stop us from having fun!
We learned about milking cows, making butter,a  cows lifespan, how to take care of cows, and so much more.  Farming is not easy but it sure is fun!

Ms. Carmen was the biggest kid on the the field trip.
We even had fun while we waited for our tour!
Mrs. Hatcher gave us an awesome tour and taught us so much.
She is a fourth generation farmer at her family farm.
These are the "high school cow" as Mrs. Hatcher called them.
They are best friends and were eating together.
We learned that they will stay friends throughout their life on the farm.
This cow is 14 years old and just had her 12th and last baby.
Most cows only live to be six or seven.
A few of the children were about to try and milk her and they all were about to pet her.
She was very sweet.

Kona Ice!

The Kona Ice Truck is a great way to cool off on a hot day!
Everyone had so much fun trying different flavors and making a huge mess.
Everyone was ready for Kona Ice!
Even the teachers!
 Yum! Yum!
All the different flavors were GREAT!
He picked a blue snow cone to match his shirt.
Cooling off with the best snow cones ever!
Ms. Buffie helped us pick flavors.

Ollie Otter & Friends!

Ollie Otter came to teach us about
Seatbelt Safety!

The children were taught to let drivers know to
slow down when you see orange vest or cones.
Take a look at all these well behaved children listening!
Some of the toddlers were a little unsure about Ollie.
They warmed up to Ollie at the end with hugs & high fives.
If you are under 4'9 it is "BOOSTER TIME!"
Miss Shannon barely made the cut : ).
The children helped with the Ollie cheer.
Ollie had many hugs & high fives to go around.
He was AWESOME!!
